English This is simply an absolutely brutal cartoon and I have no idea why SpongeBob was passing me by for all those years. I may have been telling myself that I couldn’t understand how far the authors were willing to go with a fairy-tale because a talking sponge for washing the dishes who wears pants seemed to me too brutal an idea to entertain children. Now I actually feel that it’s for adults… I guess kids find their bits in it as well. I will play this to my own kids one day. ()

English Average and it only gets to those properly freaky limits in the second half. However, it is fair to say that David Hasselhoff is a gifted artist and an even more gifted swimmer. ()

English A clear choice for fans of the series. But it’s too much of a crazy cartoon for the rest of us. It wasn't bad in its day, but SpongeBob's humor hasn't really become immortal. However, the Nickelodeon Hall of Fame will be a part of the childhood memories of anyone who experienced SuperMax. ()
