When 12 ordinary members of the Women's Institute, a prim and proper local ladies' club, decide they need to find a more compelling way to raise money for a new charity, they turn to their traditional annual calendar and give it a very untraditional twist. Behind the usual baked goods, the apple pressing, and the flower arrangements are the women -- completely nude! (official distributor synopsis)

A pleasant English comedy with a pleasantly light premise that is standard for this type of comedies and what’s more, it is based on a true story. If you add in likeable characters and beautiful English countryside you get this movie that is ideal for your leisure at the end of the working week. ()
A nice comedy with a likable cast (the snappy Helen Mirren in the lead), an undemanding but thankfully not primitive script, and a number of jokes of various (mostly endearing) calibers. I found part of the second half (before the flight to the set) a bit lengthy and I was sorry that there was no meeting with George Clooney, but otherwise I have nothing to complain about. ()
