Monamour (2006)

English Tinto Brass is quite the pervert, and I quite like it because Anna Jimskaia, whom he cast in the lead role, is simply stunning, and thanks to this film, she shows us truly everything. The opening shots, especially of certain parts of her, are stunning. That's what the film is all about - her. And about a marriage that needs a real spark.

Veerappan: None Like Him Ever Existed (2016)

English Although it almost seems like this is a film with a message, that aspect is somewhat suppressed in favor of action and brutality, which are quite good. I was quite surprised by how gritty the film is. What it wants to say, however, could have been conveyed in a much smaller space, which somewhat detracts from its impact.

La frígida y la viciosa (1980)

English It's actually a bit cold and not all that sinful. Just when you think it might pick up pace, the camera decidedly doesn't show anything truly interesting. There are no bad ideas here; for instance, the scene with the billiards is very good, but the creators simply lacked the courage to give it some edge.

The White King (2016)

English It's a bit superficial, and somewhat predictable, and the ending definitely will not satisfy you. However, it's nice that even in today's age, it's possible to make an Orwellian film that tries to convey something and shows how society could also evolve. The film didn't dazzle me, it's too small for that, but it did manage to captivate me.

Sergeant Rutledge (1960)

English An excellent western that deals with an interesting subject - racism. It is presented through a single case, making it more of a courtroom drama than a western. But it works very well because there are great characters, primarily Woody Strode, who shows what a great and underrated actor he was.

The President's Last Bang (2005)

English While watching the film, I felt like I was watching a political drama with a touch of films like The Godfather and especially Scarface. It's mafia, it's gritty, but it's also set in real life. Give a man too much and you'll regret it. At least in most cases. The Koreans did a great job with this.

Town Creek (2009)

English Town Creek deals with the Nazis and their experiments, a subject that I personally find interesting and enjoy watching. But that’s not the case here. Joel Schumacher decided that the script wasn't that important in this case, and instead focused on how the scenes would look. Some look really good, but that's about it.

Robbers' Roost (1955)

English He was once an outlaw, but he decided that this time he’d only fight for the good side. And it just so happened that his new employer lost his daughter. Someone took her. A group that definitely doesn’t have good intentions. So he decides to help. A fairly standard story, with fairly standard (average) execution.

Sher (2015)

English A classic Indian folk hero. At first glance, very ordinary, but at second glance, he's an action hero who could almost outshine Stallone or Schwarzenegger. On top of that, there's a romantic story, a bit of singing, and you get an average Indian action flick for the undemanding viewer.

Priceless (2016)

English From the beginning, I liked the film. It's a darker romance. He accidentally discovers two young Mexican women in the car and takes them to the States. They're supposed to find a better life here, but in reality, they'll just be white meat. He's in love and wants to help them. It's a shame about the ending, which was predictable and lacked punch. Otherwise, I was satisfied.
