Lum (Chester Lauck) and Abner's (Norris Goff) general store is the town hub, and because of this, they know all of the local gossip. Located within the general store is Pine Bluff's post office, where Alice (Frances Langford) works as the postmistress. Alice wants to marry the local physician's son Kenneth, but her aunt is feuding with the doctor and resolutely forbids the marriage. Meanwhile, a young girl is tragically killed in a hit and run accident that has yet to be resolved. With so much going on in Pine Bluff, it's up to do-gooders Lum and Abner to make things right again. (Echo Bridge Entertainment)
