A documentary that explores the tragical life and art of Ülo Sooster (1924-1970) who made hugely significant contributions to so-called Second Russian Avant-Garde. After ten years of hard labor in Soviet labor camp in Karaganda, Sooster didn’t return to his homeland Estonia but settled in Moscow and became the most influential tastemaker for the whole generation of Soviet nonconformist artists.
