I saw a comment somewhere suggesting the title of this film had racist undertones, which honestly made me laugh—especially since most of it takes place in Africa. That aside, the film itself isn't anything special. Honestly, you're better off experiencing an actual black sand beach, like in Iceland, rather than sitting through this movie on Netflix. The first half is a total snoozefest, though the second half does pick up with some action. Still, overall, it's just another forgettable Spanish thriller, and Netflix has plenty of those. ()
