One wonders how certain films could have won an Oscar. No, this isn't a bad film, but it just doesn't have the same impact nowadays as it did when it came out. It's emotional, but script-wise I don't think it's very well handled. It's so unbelievable and the happy ending didn't suit me at all, which happens to me a lot. ()
