Finding the child murderer for whom the sight of blood is an impulse for open aggressiveness - that is yet another task for Major Kalaš, played by Rudolf Hrušínský. The Gabin-style Maigret of Czechoslovakian criminology - this time without the company of Senior Lieutenant Varga (Radoslav Brzobohatý), leaves for an eerie vacation in the North-Bohemian village of Dubá. This is the third crime feature by Petr Schulhoff, a classic of this genre. (Summer Film School)
