Liam Gallagher: As it Was tells the honest and emotional story of how one of the most electrifying rock ’n' roll frontmen went from the dizzying heights of his champagne supernova years in Oasis to living on the edge, ostracised and lost in the musical wilderness of booze, notoriety and bitter legal battles. Starting again alone, stripped bare and with nowhere to hide, Liam risks everything to make the greatest rock’n’roll comeback of all time. Directors Charlie Lightening and Gavin Fitzgerald invite us backstage for a no-holds-barred look at the life of one of the most talked-about and charismatic artists of his generation. English If you want to learn more about Liam Gallagher (the "bad" one from Oasis) and you love the band, this documentary is for you. It doesn’t dive too deep into the details, but Liam does open up, giving you a glimpse into his mind and a chance to ponder what kind of person he is. He certainly wasn’t a good guy back in the day — a rebel through and through, with drugs, alcohol, and a general disdain for fans. Nowadays, he’s slightly better, but the question remains: do fans want a "good" Liam, or do they prefer the rebel who somehow always got away with it? Well, except for that relationship with Noel. ()
