Between Panama and Colombia lies the Darién Gap, a rainforest that divides South and Central America and is traveled by indigenous groups, immigrants, farmers, endemic animals, and government institutions. Beyond its geopolitical importance, this jungle is a metaphor for the disparity between our environment and our society. (Morelia International Film Festival)
