Plots(1)

On Dinard beach, in the usual summer torpor, a group of young men and women are bustling with activity. No-one seems to be paying them any attention. These young people are flanked by a curious participant, clearlymuch older, yet always alert, always active. Nosferatu at the beach? Doubtless none of the inattentive holidaymakers suspects that, under their distracted gaze, one of the most admired filmmakers is at work. Using rushes and footage from the set, Jean-André Fieschi and Françoise Etchegaray’s film creates a second story from A Summer’s Tale by Éric Rohmer: an invitation to enter the realitymaker known as cinema and discover a second tale.
