Plots(1)

In the late 1960s, the artist Cesar Manrique came back to the island of Lanzarote in order to turn it into an idyllic holiday destination, where art and nature went hand in hand, while preserving the Island's peculiarities. Today, after his death, thousands of tourists visit the island looking for sun and sand. Meanwhile, some of the island’s inhabitants maintain its conscience alive, footprints of a world with an expiry date that shows us the difficult coexistence between tradition and progress.
