Before Oblivion

Fermín spends his life between his work as a diablero and his confinement at home. Other families like him live in a vecindad, a sort of tenement, in the heart of Mexico City. One day, a company in collusion with the government threatens to evict the tenants in order to build a mall on the plot of the vecindad. The tenants come together in solidarity to emerge from their self-absorption and fight for a common cause. (Morelia International Film Festival)
