Two millionaires Albert Borovsky and Gennady Sobolev have a dream to marry their children Nikita and Diana to merge their family fortunes. Unfortunately the young people are not fond of each other, but Nikita lacks the courage to tell Diana and her father about it. Life presents to Nikita an unexpected gift. On the day when he was supposed to announce their engagement, a young woman called Yulia arrives at the Borovskys from the provincial town of Kamyshensk, claiming to be Albert's daughter. A scandal develops in the family, and Nikita takes advantage of the situation by asking Yulia to help him get rid of Diana. In his turn, Nikita does Yulia a favour by replacing the crucial materials for the genetic examination. Ultimately, Albert's doubts melt away and he believes Yulia is his daughter. The Borovskys are becoming more and more attached to the kind and thrifty young woman, and Nikita suspects his feelings towards her are far from brotherly! Love changes Nikita - he is no more 'mamma's darling'. Diana notices the changes in his character and decides she would like to marry him after all. The confused young man faces great difficulties in his struggle for happiness. (Star Media)
