Miriam prepares her fifteenth birthday party and invites Jean-Louis, her internet boyfriend. Tere, her mother, is excited to meet him; he may be the son of a French cultural attaché. Days before, Miriam and Jean-Louis decide to meet each other and when Miriam sees he’s black, she doesn’t come close to meet him. Fearful and confused, Miriam lies about her identity; but as the party approaches, the rumor that Jean-Louis is the son of a foreign family spreads and Miriam is trapped in a web of expectations.
