Two hours of conversation in one diner? No, it's not quite that simple, but even if it were, I'm almost certain that Levinson could have directed something with these actors that would be interesting and entertaining. The whole cast is trying incredibly hard and you can see that they had the ambition to become great actors. Some of them really succeeded, while unfortunately, some faded into obscurity.
