The Maine Warden Service is back on patrol throughout the 18 million acres of rugged woods of the Pine Tree State on North Woods Law. As one of the nation’s original guardians of the great outdoors, there isn’t much this group hasn’t seen, and this season is no different. The game wardens snare a pair of brothers who are aiming to poach deer, scramble to save a tangled great blue heron, diffuse a volatile situation when a hunting family gets confrontational, and bring closure to one of the most confounding mysteries in Maine Warden Service history. With people and wildlife increasingly sharing territory, the game wardens must work together to ensure all laws are obeyed.
