Unlikely Travellers is a remarkable film about six unique people who take a life-changing trip to the other side of the world.  They're real, raw, hilariously blunt... and quite unlike anyone you've seen on television before. This is their story: six fabulous adventurers, each with a unique and challenging intellectual disability. They have more baggage than the average tourist but no less passion for travel and achievement.  Their two-week trip to Egypt will test them against the elements, their own fears and obsessions, and a culture they know little about. From the selection process, to their mental and physical preparation for the trip itself, they each learn to face their fears and insecurities, chase their dreams and explore their possibilities. As a no-holds barred insight into the lives of intellectually disabled people, Unlikely Travellers helps to allay our preconceived perceptions about people with disabilities whilst taking these "unlikely travellers" on a deeply moving, hilarious and insightful journey of self-discovery in a strange land away from the comforts of their normal protected environment and family support. It's an entertaining, engaging and inspiring journey that will touch even the most hardened of viewers. (Accent Film Entertainment)
