Amnesiac tells the story of a man (Wes Bentley) who wakes up in bed suffering from memory loss after being in an accident, only to begin to suspect that his wife (Kate Bosworth) may not be his real wife. The web of lies and deceit deepen inside the house where he soon finds himself a prisoner. Amnesiac is a stylish and twisted thriller in the vein of Misery with superb performances by Kate Bosworth and Wes Bentley. (Accent Film Entertainment)

The film Amnesiac at times gives the impression that it's a sort of remake of Misery. Even though Kate Bosworth tries, she's not as demonic as Kathy Bates, who was incredible. Unfortunately, partly to blame is the screenplay, which is definitely not a strong point of this film, and after a while, you feel like it's just piling nonsense upon nonsense, and it doesn't entertain you.
