A family excursion to the Swedish Highlands becomes tense when Sarah (Emilie Kruse, You and Me Forever) discovers that a drunken mistake has become an explicit viral video. Without any cell coverage, the impact of Sarah's indiscretion comes in only piece by piece, as she tries to keep the video a secret from her family (who are already being torn apart). Tensions continue to rise, and Sarah becomes more and more isolated with the strain beginning to show in shocking ways. A slow burning psychological drama, Secluded is a modern morality play about the digital trails we leave. (Cinequest Festival)
