English I actually like the modern mummy flicks much better, even if it's just American entertainment. The older Hammer films are characterized by being repetitive, having minimal scenes with the mummy itself, and ultimately, they're not even that much of a horror. The Mummy's Shroud is no exception to this. However, the final scene with the mummy's death is well-executed. It is very good in terms of special effects. ()
