Detective Jay Swan (Aaron Pedersen), assigned to a missing persons case, arrives in the town of Goldstone to pursue a line of enquiry. When he begins digging however, he discovers that Goldstone is hiding a web of corruption and crime and he vows to bring the criminals to justice. (Transmission Films)

More than noir, this film is actually pretty good documentation of the issues that exist in Australian society and what the locals have to deal with, besides alcohol, of course. Unfortunately, the story itself isn't as interesting as the shots of beautiful Australia, but even those don't make this a really good crime film.
