Cruel Summer

Danny (Richard Pawulski), a teenager with autism, escapes the inner city for camping trip in the beautiful countryside. Little does he know he is being stalked by the psychotic Nicholas (Danny Miller), who believes Danny slept with his girlfriend, Julia (Natalie Martins). Unfortunately for Danny, the romantic interlude is a fabrication created by Nicola (who is secretly in love with Nicolas) and her friend Calvin (Reece Douglas) which is designed to send Nicolas into a jealous rage. Their plan works a little too well as Nicholas’ behaviour towards Danny becomes increasingly erratic and violent and it isn’t long before the troublemaking two are in way over their heads.
