Honey Daniels (Jessica Alba) dreams of making a name for herself as a hip-hop choreographer. When she’s not busy hitting downtown clubs with her friends, she teaches dance classes at a nearby community center in Harlem, N.Y., as a way to keep kids off the streets. Honey thinks she’s hit the jackpot when she meets a hotshot director casts her in one of his music videos. Just a terribly ordinary film about how a poor girl becomes someone respected because she simply has what it takes and would never choose the wrong path, like sleeping with someone who has money. That's so stupid and naive it can't even work. On the other hand, it's quite nice that the romance is really only marginal and doesn't really matter.
