Jack Carter, a man constantly living in a state of regret, takes his technology-obsessed family, including their lovable dog Buster, on a Christmas vacation to the mountains in the hopes of reconnecting with them. While on vacation, Jack and his family run into an estranged, uber-competitive friend of Jack's, who now live the life of luxury that Jack pines for. Another Christmas movie. It's getting a bit much, but you can't take a break when there's so much coming at you. And I don't want to. I'm curious to see if anyone comes up with something pretty original. This is not that original, but at least it has that nice Christmas and family atmosphere, which I definitely appreciate. But that's also kind of standard.
