Set in the nuclear-scarred 21st century, where mankind struggles to survive in the shadows of radioactive clouds, an intrepid scavenger named Moses Baxter (Dylan McDermott) ventures out into the industrial wasteland and discovers a robotic head - an otherwise innocuous remnant of a war-torn past. Delivered into the relative safety of the colony, the steel scrap is destined to become part of girlfriend Jill's (Stacey Travis) world of metal-sculpture. But within the robotic head is the insidious micro chip of a military combat droid called M.A.R.K 13 ready to mount a violent resurrection that will wreak all manner of havoc and rock the colony to its bloody core.
