The Last Ten

A great, creatively executed idea that involves watching a staircase from above, with a static camera that doesn't even move. It lets us observe characters coming up the stairs to an apartment where something is happening inside. We don't know exactly what. The film plays with sound and the viewer's imagination in a great way. The adjective "Hitchcockian" suits it quite well. (25/05/2014)
