Feminist absurdity that’s not smart enough, but also takes itself too seriously, and in the end is just ridiculous.

Silent Retreat is a good film, but it would have been a little better if someone else had taken it on. I have to appreciate the monster that is in the woods because it is quite interesting, not to mention that the creators understood that the less we see of it, the better. In the end, they made a slightly above average spectacle that won't catch everyone's attention, but it can pleasantly chill.
