The Appearing

After suffering the sudden and tragic loss of their daughter, a city detective named Michael and his emotionally fragile wife Rachel, move to a small town, where Michael joins the town police force. His first case, involving a missing teenage girl, leads him to discover that the town is plagued by a dark supernatural force.
