After being brutally pack raped, dental hygienist Julia undergoes a radical and unorthodox form of therapy in order to find herself again. Her psychiatrist recommends structure, carefully monitored revenge - but for Julia, it's gone way beyond that. "Julia" is a movie that gives you the feeling that the creators tried really hard to approach the subject differently, to create an impression of darkness and pervasive depression, but somehow forgot about other factors. I prefer movies with a stronger plot, and ultimately, "Julia" is just another revenge film that doesn't bring anything new. There is definitely more that could have been extracted from the theme.
