A combination of static video recordings and minimalist postproduction animation creates a moving image whose creator explores memory while using the sea as a visual metaphor for forgetting. She finds inspiration in an essay by anthropologist Marc Augé, who described Memory as a wild seashore and the sea as Forgetting, through which memory is formed.
