English The Day After Halloween is a film that, upon a brief glance, has a rather interesting story. It's supposedly shot with the visual style of giallo, but in reality, it's closer to European art cinema, from which the artistic aspect eventually disappeared. There's very little horror here, which is a problem because the theme calls for it. But I guess that would just make it another uninteresting slasher movie. ()

English The Australian thriller Snapshot approaches the Italian Giallo genre in style at times and generally intoxicates the viewer with inventive camera shots and very distinctive music, but for God's sake nobody needed such a plotless and drawn-out film. Visually it's beautiful, but be armed with an extra dose of patience before the screening. ()
