His wife comatose nearby in a hospital, Takafumi Katayama, melancholy furniture store clerk, single parent raising a young son, seeks a reprieve from his depressing situation. He contacts a niche S&M agency and it's not long before he's agreeing to leather clad women humiliating him in public. Now with his monotonous existence punctuated by ritualistic beatings, things fast grow out of control for Takafumi. Soon the dominatrices start turning up unannounced at his door. Disruptions to his daily routine go from the workplace to his wife's hospital room during visiting hours. Parenting a child becomes impossible.
