The Equestria Girls movies re-envision the main characters of the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic series, normally ponies, as human characters in a high school setting. While learning how to behave as a human, Twilight Sparkle encounters human counterparts of her pony friends, who help her overcome challenges beyond those of a typical high-school student.
