Based on the hugely popular, long-running BBC show of the same name, Spooks is a high-stakes thriller which blends Bourne-style action with the class of John le Carre. British intelligence officer Sir Harry Pearce finds himself blamed after terrorist Adem Qasim escapes from custody. Believing Qasim was helped by someone inside MI5, Pearce enlists ex-agent Will Holloway to find the traitor and thwart a terror attack. (Madman Entertainment)

English If I don’t count James Bond, it seems to me that the English turn movie spies into boring and uninteresting caricatures with dry humor. But Spooks: The Greater Good is a different thing, similar to Bond in particular. Proper action that doesn’t bore you from the beginning till the end. And at the same time, it stars unfamiliar actors and plays around with them brilliantly and so you are waiting for what is going to happen to the characters at any moment. I wasn’t expecting this, but I got really great action. How come that this movie in particular has a weak score of 60% from the reviewers? ()

English For me, this film is quite a decent calculation. It was anticipated that the series Spooks would be one of those that are quite well-known and popular. Kit Harington, sorry, Jon Snow, is a heartthrob of a generation, and then you add a bit of a grittier take on the action thriller genre, resulting in something that interests the modern generation. It’s a cheaper Mission: Impossible. It's not much more than that. ()
