An elderly music teacher learns about his Jewish roots. Through investigation into his own past we discover the history of holocaust in Belgrade, and the fates of nowadays' Jewish and Romany communities. This extraordinary perspective of WWII, rendered by cinema of former Yugoslavia, does not reconstruct the past - it looks for its traces in the present. (Summer Film School)
