A group of college kids travel to a small, mountain town called Madison County to interview the author of a tell all book on the accounts of several grisly murders that happened there. But when the kids get to Madison County, the author is nowhere to be found and the town's people act like they haven't seen him in years. They also say that the killer never existed and the murders never happened. How-ever, when the kids start digging around to get their own answers, they find out that the stories may be more real than the townspeople are letting on! Madison County - A slasher masterpiece, which has already caused a stir in the U.S. With his debut film director Eric England impressively proves that he knows the rules of the genre inside out and also does not hesitate to break with it. He unleashes Damien, a pig masked killing machine, on humanity and with his ultra-brutal kills, Damien doesn't need to hide from his co-killers like Jason and Co. Damien is played by cult actor Nick Principe - known for his role as ChromeSkull from Laid to Rest and Chrome Skull: Laid To Rest 2. Thanks to the extremely realistic and bloody effects work of Robert Hall, Madison County is a real bloodbath, which will satisfy even the toughest slasher fan. (Gryphon Entertainment)

I’m a fan of indie filmmakers, but this is so incredibly uninteresting and unoriginal that not even the overall fine technical aspect can save it. I don’t expect creators to come up with great surprises in a redneck slasher flick, but here there is absolutely nothing! Desolate, empty. Not a hint of tension or atmosphere, not even interesting murders; nothing.
