Design for life

The series Design for Life deceives when it comes to its genre because it is not a documentary, but a pure reality show about how a group of horny aspirants tries to get into the team of a famous designer. If you see this project as a documentary, it is in a way absolute crap, because the design gets lost in it under a lot of scripted emotions, gossip, and self-presentation, as is customary in reality shows. However, if you look at Design for Life as part of the reality show genre, then it is not as shallow and embarrassing as many of its counterparts. Overall impression: 40%. (28/08/2012)
