Here we have a great acting duo playing siblings who have become estranged but are finding their way back to each other after he attempted suicide, and she found out when she was about to do the same. Great, natural performances that draw you in and guide you through this drama where hope dies last. ()
It occurred to me that the whole film stood and fell by Kristen Wiig starring in it. But maybe it was just because I fell a little in love with her in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. However, she was not the only actress backing this movie. Luke Wilson and Bill Hader also delivered some very decent performances, so this independent American drama became quite a pleasant affair. This is mostly thanks to the actors, who are the most important element in movies like this. Had it not been for their excellence, this film would have been average. ()
