Comedy directed and co-written by Ben Stiller who also stars, reprising his role as dim but affable model Derek Zoolander. When pop stars start being taken out by hitmen, giving the Zoolander signature 'Blue Steel' look before dying, FBI agent Melanie Valentina (Penélope Cruz) begins investigating. She calls on Zoolander and Hansel (Owen Wilson) to infiltrate the new world of high fashion to uncover the truth about the pop star killings. At this point, however, Zoolander and Hansel are now aged, washed-up models. A complication arises in the form of their old foe Mugatu (Will Ferrell), who has been recently released from prison and is bent on revenge. (Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment)

English I haven’t seen a cringier comedy for a long time, which I didn’t expect at all. And I must say that I didn’t even expect anything of the Zoolander sequel by default, since the first one years ago didn’t really excite me either. But people change, the times change and I thought that maybe, I could be a little bit more lenient with this kind of humor. But not only did Ben Stiller shoot total garbage, which could have been expected, it was also incredibly cringey, which I didn’t anticipate. When I was watching the movie, I felt embarrassed for him, and that doesn’t really happen often. At least Owen Wilson was there as Hansel and looked like he was actually from this world. ()

English Sometimes it’s a little thinner than the first one, sometimes there’s "more of the same" and as a result it’s outrageous fun, if Zoolander's very specific style of humor combining goofiness, sophistication, bizarre craziness and absurdity is your thing. In any case, it is a shot in the dark for those who liked the first Zoolander. The sequel is something very similar - total mischief filmed by people who have significant filmmaking skills, are not stupid, have a sense of comedic timing and a variety of humor styles from comedians to serious faces through manic creation, to all of the possible subtypes of satire and parody. The film has a slower start, there are a few dead spots and not all of the jokes work, but I laughed almost continuously during the last twenty minutes. ()

English Zoolander 2 is an unbelievably crazy and colourful madness, in which so many familiar faces appear during the 100-minute running time that you can't even keep track of it. The biggest downside was the fact that I only laughed my heart out about twice, otherwise it was more of an automatic smirk, which is a bit of a problem with comedy, but the truth is that I was never a fan of the first movie, so the mere thought that it was a stellar return after fifteen long years was enough to satisfy me. If there was a ten-star scale, I'd give it five out of ten – this way, it's only two stars, but with a plus. In short, a film that despite my low rating isn't bad, I just underestimated its humour and had an inappropriate course that I didn't quite like, but I still digested it, and without pain. ()

English As a big fan of the first Zoolander, I was really looking forward to the second installment, but this? If it hadn’t been for the cast, I wouldn't have given any stars to this pathetic attempt to follow up the first installment. Mind-numbingly boring, nothing works, the script is terrible, the jokes aren’t funny, absolutely zero originality. This is what tea would taste like if you re-used the same bag 10 times. ()

English I had a great time, and that was enough to make me happy this time. Excellent actors in utterly idiotic roles, but some in great ones. The presence of many stars surprises, and you might not even notice some of them. But this is an experience that will stick in my mind for a while, which I am very glad for. It's great to have a good laugh in the movie theater for once. ()
