A very artificial and sentimental film that, nevertheless, at certain moments appears quite charming, with its leading actors being at the absolute top of their game at the time. Sleepless in Seattle fully exploits the power of the nocturnal city and the endearing vulnerability of Meg Ryan, who was born for such roles and eagerly repeated them several times. It is an average affair of the 1990s, but still a class above similar things made today on the same concept. (02/04/2009)
