With a hurricane on the way, Kelly quickly boards up the house while her stepfather brings home a fierce tiger for his wild animal preserve. Kelly and her brother find themselves trapped inside their home alone with the man-eating beast in the middle of a hurricane. English Two hours ago, I would never have thought, even in my wildest dreams, that someone would be able to make a good horror film with a tiger in the main role, let alone something very tense and scary (maybe a silly B-movie at most). Burning Bright is a pleasant surprise of grandiose proportions, even if in the first twenty minutes or so there’s nothing that’d suggest the horror spectacle that is to come. The moment the likeable protagonist, her autistic brother and the hungry predator find themselves closed together in a house, you get on a ride that won’t let you catch your breath until the end credits. I can tell you with absolute certainty that this year I haven’t seen a more riveting genre film. In my current enthusiasm I’m willing to give it the highest rating, but I’d rather wait a couple of days to see if the experience doesn’t fizzle out too quickly, in any case, recommended. Edit after a couple of days: Yeah, it’s not worthy of five stars, but I’m leaving it at a solid four. I didn’t mind the plot holes because the atmosphere is great :) ()

English It sounds almost unbelievable, but Burning Bright is not as stupid of a film as it may seem, and instead it is a film that is very well constructed, has a great atmosphere and is excellently built. Yet it's really only about a girl trying to survive in the company of a tiger. It’s a crazy idea, but it was handled very well, for which the creators definitely deserve praise. ()
