College student Mary Murdock thinks she's hit a cat with car while driving home drunk from a party. She is horrified when she gets home and discovers a man's nearly dead body impaled on her Jeep. Terrified and irrational, Mary makes a series of fateful decisions, and the man she thought she killed comes back to terrorize her. (official distributor synopsis)

To be honest, this film was quite a pleasant surprise. It begins as an interesting thriller reminiscent of Gordon’s Stuck, but there’s a WTF moment half an hour before the end that quite brutally turns it into horror. I’m not a big fan of this kind of swings, but I don’t know how the remaining time could have been filled, so I think this twist is quite good. There are several moments where the film is a bit cheap (the pointless and gratuitous fall down the stairs) and the logic is not always tight, but if every direct-to-video horror looked like this, I wouldn’t complain.
