Mélanie Laurent was fantastic, but she found herself in a crime thriller that got ridiculously confusing, especially in the second half. The beginning had a great setup and really pulled me in, with an epic and mysterious vibe. But as it went on, it lost steam, and by the end, it definitely wasn’t the French Se7en it could’ve been. Still, it was enjoyable, mainly thanks to Mélanie. She’s the one thing this film really has going for it. ()
