Alyssa Harris (Barbara Niven), is a hardworking, successful woman. When her husband died several years ago, Alyssa was left to raise her daughter Danielle (Danielle Kind), and her 17-year-old son Jason (Matthew Raudsepp) on her own. Danielle, a hair stylist, and Jason, about to go off to college, have never kept any real secrets from their mother... until now.
