Kate (Eva Longoria) is the ultimate bridezilla - a bossy and controlling bride who won't let anyone or anything stand in the way of her perfect wedding day. That is, until she becomes the victim of her own tyranny, when an ice sculpture she's rejected crushes her to death just hours before her wedding. A year passes and Henri (Paul Rudd) Kate's devoted fiancee, has not moved on. Henri's sister decides to take matters into her own hands and hires Ashley (Lake Bell), a chef who moonlights as a psychic, to pretend that Kate is contacting her from beyond, encouraging Henri to start dating again. When Ashley falls in love with Henri, the trick reignites Kate's passion for control and she returns, furious, and on a mission to drive Ashley -- the only living person who can actually see and hear Kate -- completely insane and out of his life. Actually, I was kind of creeped out by the beginning... I was looking forward to Eva and then suddenly bang. After that I couldn't really get into her anymore, so I settled for the equally great Lake Bell, who wasn't actually that fantastic here... haha. Not an interesting story, but enough for a boring afternoon. An average average.
