Hands Up!

Graduates of a Medical University meet at a reunion ball, celebrating the anniversary of receiving their diplomas. They leave the party to visit an absent friend who lives a long way from them, deciding to travel by train, in a freight car – but things do not go as planned. The truth will come out later. For the time being, a psychodrama takes place: the young physicians’ examination of the Stalinist era in which they studied, and of the attitudes they adopted at that time as activists of the Communist Union of Polish Youth (Związek Młodzieży Polskiej, or ZMP).
