Set in the late 70s, Lymelife seen through the innocent eyes of fifteen year old Scott is a unique take on the dangers of the American dream. An outbreak of Lyme disease hits the community spreading illness and paranoia. His parents are on the verge of divorce and his brother is about to ship off to war. American independence has about a 20 percent success rate with me, and that's where the success lies. I enjoyed that sad undertone, the series of quite shocking scenes, and above all Rory and Kieran Culkin with Alec Baldwin. Excellent characters, perfectly played in a finally interesting story that can captivate. What more could you want.
