Phantom from Space

Nobody takes much notice when an asteroid crashes off the coast of Santa Monica. That is, until two people turn up dead. It turns out that someone - or something - ejected from the asteroid, and it is responsible for the deaths. The town must mobilize to track down the mysterious Phantom from Space, but what is its goal? Why is it here? And how easy a task will it be to track him down when it turns out...he's invisible!
