The film starts in Chernobyl where the biggest accident ever has occurred in a nuclear plant, the consequences of which we have no way of controlling. Incidentally the Russian word 'chernobylink' means wormwood, in Swedish 'malört'. We hear statements from people whose lives were effected by the accidents in Harrisburg and Chernobyl.
